Wet winter  no problems at Lang Lang Golf Club

After an extended period of heavy rainfall many Golf Clubs have been be deemed to be unplayable on occasion and have had to close the course or nine holes and when open resort to preferred lies and tee up to at least get members and visitors on their courses.

Built entirely on sand and boasting a comprehensive drainage system Lang Lang Golf Club has not only remained open for play all year long it also has not needed to resort to preferred lies ,Tee Up etc at all, in fact golfers are still getting run on the fairways. The only complaint has been the greens are too fast!

This has seen visitor numbers increase dramatically from the local district and in fact from northern, Southern, Eastern and western Melbourne as players desperately try to find “dry land”.
